Boat #20 requires above average skill & operation knowledge to operate... Tiller handle control incorporates both shift and throttle. Manual tilt is also challenging to operate as it requires tilting to maximum height in order to lower to full down position.
We recommend a maximum of two individuals on board but according to Sylvan Boats of New Paris, Indiana the craft is made to accommodate three folks. This hull design has been used for decades and it is a 1540 model.
Equipped with a 9.9hp 2-cycle outboard with tiller handle controls and a 3-gallon fuel tank.
The motor is manual pull start, manual tilt and requires above average skill & operation knowledge to operate as well as more detailed than average starting procedure.
Three aluminum bench seats with a wet-well or "live-well" inside the center bench seat were lake water can be let in via a drain plug in wet-well compartment bottom for keeping your catch alive.
One throw cushion, one anchor, and a paddle are safety equipment which are provided and included with each fishing jon boat rental.
