Anchors: Gilligan's Boats' anchors are genuine indigenous Indiana Limestone anchors. Gilligan's anchors are ECO-FRIENDLY utilizing natural material quarried from Corydon, Indiana and hand selected and bored. Gilligan's anchors return to soil eventually if lost in Patoka Lake. Limestone anchors are sedimentary stone from ages past when great oceans covered the area.
Gilligan's limestone anchors are not harmful to our environment like other anchors containing lead, zinc, iron, galvanized steel, & vinyl. Gilligan's Indiana Limestone anchors do not pollute Patoka Lake with foreign metals or petroleum based products. Store-bought anchors routinely cost $40 or more each to replace. Gilligan's anchors are cost-friendly to guests as well at $0 to replace our natural limestone anchor stones in the event they are lost while boating.
